April Sleuth's Meeting

I enjoyed the program last Saturday. It is intesting and informative to learn things out of your comfort zone and experience. It is always nice to have lunch with you guys and listen to the chatter.

Have the current pirates on the high seas given any one story ideas?

Shirley is doing a good job keeping the interest up and we are having great meetings. Thanks Shirley.

Thank you for the kind words, Pat. We had a really good turnout on Saturday. And next month's speaker will be a psychic.

One thing to remember is that even if you're not interested in the topic, our speakers can always be great future characters for stories. We should be taking notes on everything and keeping a file.

I've always wanted to have a court reporter speak to us, but haven't found one willing yet. I'm actually creating a court reporter character for a short story and would love to know more about what they do.

Everyone is a potential character.

Hospital running kept me from the last meeting--BUMMER! I was really interested in the speaker, too.

A psychic should be interesting--will enjoy that. Loved watching Medium in it's early runs but it's on when I'm at work now. Will be curious how the speaker will relate to those kind of movies.

A court reporter would be neat--hope you can lure one over sometime.

Enjoy Sleuth's--hope to make them on a consistent basis from here on.

I, too, am enjoying the variety of our speakers. Kudos, Shirley.

I agree a court reporter, attorney (prosecuting or defense) or a cop would also make great speakers if you can entice any of them.
